On-Site Renewable Electricity Generation
Gravity allows you to keep track of renewable electricity you generate on-site, such as via solar panels. This enables your organization to account for all your electricity consumption in one place, even if it doesn’t contribute to your emissions.
To get started, navigate to the Site where the generation occurs and click into Electricity. Click the +Add Data button, then select “On-Site Renewable Electricity” as your power source. You can then upload a PDF or CSV record of your electricity production, or enter data manually.
By default, Gravity assigns an emission factor of 0 tCO2e per kilowatt hour of renewable electricity generated. Consequently, when you view graphs of your emissions during the relevant time period, you will see only a line at the bottom for On-Site Renewable Electricity Generation.
